About

Ami, là-bas, bien loin du monde
Bien loin de son bruit éternel
Se cachant aux regards du ciel
Plongé dans une paix profonde.
Léon Dierx

Welcome to my Homepage!

At the end of 2021 I moved to La Réunion (France) with my family. Now I work from here as an IT Freelancer.

Before that, I was employed in Munich for 23 years as a software engineer by ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH. During this time I have worked in many software development projects, including for large companies and organizations: BMW, Airbus Helicopters and the Federal Foreign Office.

If you need support in your IT project, please feel free to contact me.

I have many years of professional experience as a Java software developer. I have mastered many web development technologies (full stack): Spring Boot with Java and Kotlin, REST, JPA / Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, SQL databases, etc.

I can prove this knowledge in the form of a self-developed, fictitious e-commerce web shop that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The source code can be viewed on GitHub.

Far away but thanks to the internet as close as ever! La Réunion has a high standard of technical development, fiber optic internet lines and a perfect infrastructure. Everything I need to work stress-free and happily. Additionally there is a wonderful nature around me. Here's a view from my office window:
